One in ten people on the planet have avoidable impaired vision or functional blindness. Of these 90% live in the poorest countries in the developing world. All most need is an eye exam and glasses. VOSH/International has served millions without charge with its missions and sustainable projects for people who have no access or resources for vision or eye care. This compelling video is testament to the impact of these efforts by VOSH/International and its many volunteers throughout the world.

Support Lions Eye Program's Mission

VOSH and those affiliated with the Lions Eye Program thanks everyone for collecting eye care items. Last month Ron Meyers made the 2-1/2 hour drive (one way) to pick up a full load of brand-new frames donated to us by Hoya Vision Care in Berea, as well as our assortment of glasses, sun- glasses, readers and cases. VOSH has already scheduled mission trips in January and February so all donations will be put to good use soon. There are another 16 boxes ready for the next trip to Pandora, Ohio and that does not include boxes you may be storing.

In addition, we have been given items associated with hearing loss, which will be given to GALEP for their Hearing Aid Program. Thank you for thinking of them as well.
