Don't throw used eyeglasses away! OH3 and OH4 Lions Clubs send their collections to the Lions Eye Program, who forwards them to VOSH in Pandora, Ohio for cleaning, categorizing and packing for their mission trips. Contact your local Lions Club for their collection sites. Our motto is "WE SERVE."
Over the last 5 years the Lions Eye Program has spent approximately $135,000on eye care-glasses, exams, and surgeries. Despite the impact of Covid-19 in 2020 and operating with limited staff, we still spent $11,733 to provide the gift of sight to those in need.
